Creating a new project

When you first log into the Life system you will be automatically be taken to the 'Projects' tab.

To create a new project, click on the 'Start a New Project' button.

Completing the project details

You will then be directed to the 'General Information' page. This is the first page of every project on the Life platform and contains all of the necessary details that you need to begin your quality improvement project.

Start by giving your project a clear title so that your colleagues and other members of the Life system can easily find it. This is the only field that is mandatory - the other fields can be completed and edited at a later date if necessary.

Use this page to set your project's location, timeline, write a clear SMART project aim (this aim will be used when you begin populating your driver diagram), add your team members, and set team members' editing permissions

Finishing a project

When you have completed your project, or if you should need to cancel it at any stage, you can change the status of the project by clicking in the 'Status' box and changing it to either 'Completed' or 'Cancelled'.
